Some clients need a website that sells a service. Keao needed a website that could hold something much harder to put into words: trust between a person and the animal they love.

Keao is an intuitive animal communicator. Her work sits in a space that's part empathy, part insight, part something you can't fully explain until you've experienced it yourself. Pet owners come to her carrying real questions, real worry, and real love for their animal companions, and she helps them understand what their pets are feeling and needing in ways they couldn't access on their own.

Why This Project Mattered to Me

The challenge with a project like this is real. How do you build a website for a gift that's intangible, deeply personal, and easy to misunderstand if it's presented the wrong way? I knew going in that this site couldn't feel gimmicky or overly mystical. It needed to feel grounded and genuine, the same way Keao herself does when you talk to her.

That's what I loved most about this project. Every decision, from the words on the page to the images we chose, had to earn a visitor's trust within seconds. Pet owners reaching out to Keao are often in a vulnerable place with their animals, and the site needed to meet them there with warmth first, expertise second. Keao's website is one of the most calm, welcoming, and comforting digital spaces we've designed. 

What We Built Together

Keao's website project went beyond a homepage and a contact form. It was a true exercise in the transmission of brand energy. We worked through:

• Brand messaging written directly to pet owners, speaking to the concerns and questions they actually carry, not generic marketing language
• Visual and UX strategy, curating imagery and design choices that communicate warmth and connection at a glance
• Client booking automations, so inquiries, scheduling, and follow-ups happen smoothly without Keao having to manage it all manually
• A full client journey, mapped out so someone can move from "I found her website" to "I booked a session" without friction or confusion

Getting the tone right took real care. Too clinical, and it loses the heart of what Keao does. Too abstract, and visitors lose confidence that she's a credible, experienced professional. Finding that balance was some of my favorite work on this project.

Keao now has a website that reflects who she actually is: intuitive, compassionate, and deeply skilled at what she does. The automations free her up to spend her time and energy where it matters most, with her clients and their animals, instead of buried in admin work. And from the very first visit, pet owners get a sense of the same trust and warmth they'll feel once they're working with her directly.
